Advice on sizing from our medical assistants.
Our assistants fit patients in these shoes all day long, and they have a few sizing tips.
If you are going to order the “Relief” and normally wear a “full” size (i.e. Size 8) then you will likely be safe buying that size shoe.
It gets a little more complicated for those of us wearing “1/2” sizes. If you wear a “1/2” size (i.e size 7 ½ ) and your foot is wider or you have problems with your feet swelling then you will probably need to go to the next full size (i.e size 8). If, however, your foot is narrow and/or do not have swelling problems then the next full size down should be fine (i.e. size 7)
If you are ordering a “Cloud” or “Silver Cloud” the sizing determination changes somewhat. Both of these styles run large so regardless of whether you wear a full or half size you will possibly want to go down to the next full size. Of course this could change if you have some additional issues such as swelling.

Adjusting the heel strap
For the best fit you should be able to comfortably slide your finger between the heel and the strap. The patented closed cell resin has memory so if you need to change the position of the strap simply work your finger around the back of the heel, stretching the straps as you go.
If there is plenty of room all around the foot but you are still experiencing tight spots then you may need to lengthen the heel strap. Just stretch it a few times and it should fit fine.
